Moon Lee’s sex scandal still holds the world record

The present record shattering news coverage of the sex scandal involving the wife of famous Chinese actor, Wang Baoqiang, seemed at first to have the potential of beating Moon Lee’s “Closet Affair” ten year’s ago.  Upon closer scrutiny, Wang’s wife, Ma Rong, does not have a chance --- she is a distant second place, if that at all.  For certain, the Ma Rong extra-marital affair receives more impactful Chinese coverage because it is actually happening contemporaneously in China.  People are getting the current blow by blows and the salacious details of the sexual encounters themselves.

Similarities between Moon Lee and Ma Rong lie in their evil intentions and actions to rob the husbands they have singularly harmed and betrayed.  Both had schemed in advance to get rich in the event of a divorce.  Both used lies to try to blame the innocent husbands.  And for their future, both will suffer the same consequences --- that their hopes of having a happy family life again after their divorce are forever vanquished.  No man of any substance, ability and wealth will ever marry such a tarnished woman again.  For men of character and financial means, there are far too many worthy choices.

Whereas Ma Rong had a lengthy affair with the talent agent of her husband, the objection of her silly affection is still with a “man” with a job and reasonable income.  Although there is no information to suggest any worthy talents or capabilities of Ma Rong other than her physical attractiveness, the lusting boyfriend at least had a meager income and mediocre occupation.  Aside from looks, the wandering wife was mixed up with a man who is more accomplished than she is.

Moon Lee’s extra-marital affair wipes out all competition, and may hold this world record for the longest time.  This was a thirty-nine year old woman, a celebrity retired actress, falling in love with a boy just before his eighteenth birthday.  This boy was a government-employed dancer with a total income of 900 RMB per month, lived in a dormitory, and with only a high school dance education.  In addition, this boy was at the time of the affair working part-time for the production company owned by Moon’s husband.  More stupendously, after the start of the affair, Moon allowed her husband and her to officially adopt this errant boy as their “adoptive son in China”.  So this affair, in addition to being as close to as illegal as you can be (sex with a minor), also involved an employee (sexual assault in the workplace) and an incestuous component as well.

That is why Moon Lee will own this world record for a long time and probably well beyond her lifetime!  It is a record of stupidity.  It is a record of perverse sexual desire or aberrant love.  Normal minds should be at a lost for words to describe such actions.

Moon Lee – the Goddess of Incest

Countless years after leaving the silver screen and still weathering her history-making incestuous affair with an under-aged employee AND an adoptive son, Moon Lee’s mindless blog fans still refer to her as “god” or “goddess” in Chinese.  That is a distinctive and aberrant curiosity among Chinese fans --- a sign that they are more lunatics than fans.

There is nothing god or goddess-like with Moon Lee who had the opportunity to make a few dozen badly conceived and executed Hong Kong martial arts films in the eighties and nineties.  Her unforgettable scandal of perverse love hardly contribute to any kind of a godly image --- she is such a less than ordinary human being except for her good looks.  Let us remind ourselves that good looks are common among Chinese starlets then and now; it is not an earth-shattering asset worthy of worship of any degree.

When this sordid affair started, Moon Lee was forty-one years old and low-class lover-boy was not yet eighteen --- a minor by law and also an employee.  During the affair of over two years (until discovered), the kid always called Moon “adoptive Mom” in public settings.  No one knows how he addressed her during intimate times.  Even so long after the fact, this is absolutely “gross”!  It can cause one to puke.        

If anything, Moon Lee is best suited to be anointed the Goddess of Incest.  Even I can admit her looks qualify her; and her spectacular incestuous affair with an under-aged kid employee makes her even more worthy of the title.  The manner in which she broke a number of society’s rules was staggering.  She is only a celebrity in the minds of the mindless in China; if she were truly famous, her scandal would have gotten “frontpage” among CNN and the world media.  

So Chinese fans are truly getting “dumb and dumber”!  

Moon Lee – the matter of her sexual appetite

The Chinese language blogs persistent claims that my “old” declarations during the stormy divorce about Moon Lee’s insatiable sexual desire as the cause of her nonsensical affair have contributed to ruining her image.  (Just for the interest of non-Chinese readers: in Chinese culture, it is curious that an appetite for sex is considered a highly undesirable trait for an ethical woman.  That is plain old tragedy, isn’t it!)   However, the first sentence is emphatically wrong on many counts.

I am writing these comments only for the English language blog because I do not care what Chinese readers think.  Most of them are mindless gossip addicts anyway.  The truth is that the Chinese media during the divorce grossly and intentionally misquoted me for a dramatic and “juicy” effect in print.  I specifically declined to answer their questions about Moon’s sexual appetite – only on one occasion did I take the humorous route and asked the reporter to make her own “estimate” about Moon’s appetite and prowess in the sexual arena.  The rest is now history --- countless essays have been written about me attributing her sexual scandal to her insatiable sexual desire.

Even if she did have an enhanced sexual desire per se, that does not make her a bad woman.  The fact is that irrespective of the heights of her sexual appetite, normal or abnormal, it is how she chose to use it on an idiotic man-child that is worthy of debate.

Let the truth be declared now by Moon’s ex-husband:  Moon Lee’s sex drive had nothing to do with her perverse sexual affair.  I know it as a fact deep down by knowing her well for years, both intimately and otherwise.  More importantly for all readers, it is important to know that Moon Lee repeatedly declared to me her affection and admiration for this unworthy specimen of a young man.  Moon openly admitted to me that it was not a sexual matter; it was matter of love that she could not control.  Yet she claimed that even if it was for love, it was love that she could not fully understand and rationalize.  It was scandalous behavior that progressively and incessantly sent her life to hell without any control.

Moon Lee could not have stopped her scandalous journey even though she was aware of the cost.  And for me, the marital relationship seemed so perfect, sexually, romantically and otherwise that it was not possible for me to feel that the relationship had gone terribly astray.  Moon Lee had become the ultimate actress and demon all combined as one.  It still makes me shudder when I think about those weird years of my life.

Moon Lee’s Lover-Boy – a disaster of historic proportions

Our family was just at a great Mexican vacation in Cancun.  Without any prompting, the conversation and laughter drifted towards Moon Lee’s atrocious sexual misconduct that led to the downfall of the “angel”.   And even with our new Marketing and PR Director, Jessica Wang, handling matters, some comments are best coming from people directly impacted by this shameful sexual desire gone astray in history-making proportions.

Moon Lee is a natural topic of conversation not because of persistent anger or animosity.  It is purely because her transgression is sexually so perverse and unbelievable that it demands frequent attempts to revisit the past in the hope of finding answers.  Moon was nearly forty years old when she started this sexual relationship with an under eighteen teenage dancer devoid of looks, education and economic circumstance.  And it was this unbelievable secret that she lived with for two and half years that helped to disrupt a dance and culture company she was involved with as a leader and that was also solely responsible for the downfall of a fairy-tale marriage and family life.

Attached in this essay are photos, printed in certain newspapers in Hong Kong in and around 2008, that appear frequently in Chinese language blogs describing Moon Lee’s misadventure.  Anyone with a sound mind can see the mismatch between a celebrity wife and mother versus some punk kid of little redeeming social value.  Yet, facts were indeed facts, and nothing could have altered the course of history.

My elderly and accomplished mother keeps thanking the infamous “Closet Affair” lover-boy for his deeds in bringing about the downfall of this marriage.  Everyone shudders to consider the consequence of a woman of this nature being permanently embedded in the Law family.  In the final analysis, especially with Moon’s unending lies and fraudulent behavior to steal money and assets from my family, it is clear that this woman was a devil disguised as a “pretty angel” all along.

For many years, she was truly loved and appreciated.  It was only her concrete choices that threw everything away.  There is not even room for regrets on both sides.  And in life, that is really a shame!

Moon Lee --- the laughing stock of Chinese womankind

During Moon Lee’s divorce (a subject still kept in the limelight by Moon’s constant efforts to publicize her personage), she made two women her ardent enemies by her false accusations.  Both women hated Moon for her cunning lies and her stupidity.  Both women, as employed artists in Law Brothers Chinese Performing Arts International, had worked with her and under her since de facto she was the director’s wife.  Both women have now totally converted their hatred into sneering amusement.  Their current attitude represents most thinking individuals in China today, especially reasonable women.

The first of these women is Wang Xiaoli, now director Dr. Law’s beloved wife, Alyssa Law.  While a dancer with the company, she and her fellow dancers and friends personally ran into a scenario where middle-aged Moon was stealing passion with her teenage lover-boy in the front seat of her car parked in the garage of a hotel, a full year before Dr. Law discovered the affair himself.  But in the early process of the separation and divorce process, Alyssa came back to work for the company in a new position.  Moon then took the opportunity to accuse Alyssa of being the “third person” and stealing her husband.  Alyssa actually sued Moon for defamation in a Court in Beijing and won!  Now Alyssa, a victim too of Moon Lee’s action and lies, is the beneficiary of everything and more of what Moon had lost.  Alyssa Law is having the last laugh!

The second victimized woman is heralded dancer and model Tang Jiali.   Ms. Tang was signed as the principal dancer of the touring show, Senses.  She was then famous for being an accomplished dancer with a well-publicized portfolio of artistic but nude photography.  Ms. Tang made no apologies for her body of figurative art and dance art, and for that, she stood alone in Chinese history.  Yet she was nevertheless surprisingly conservative in many ways despite her biographical history.  At the time of director Law’s actual discovery of Moon’s long betrayal, Ms. Tang had told him of what she had found out among the spying eyes of all company personnel regarding Moon’s affair.  And for that revelation of the truth, Moon accused Ms. Tang in the Chinese media of an affair with Dr. Law as a cause of her divorce.  Tang Jiali had a recent meeting in Beijing with us over a new venture; she is happily married and has a four-year old daughter.  Ms. Tang was having the last laugh too.  Everyone agreed that no decent worthy man would ever marry Moon Lee – she deserves to sulk as a single old woman for the rest of her life. 

Life is strange and no one can ever know.  Maybe Moon can find true love with a poor man desperate for love too.  But well-to-do capable men are out of her reach --- they have too many more attractive and less risky choices.

Moon Lee’s Idiotic “Closet Scandal"

Despite being devastated by a divorce that was the result of an insane and long affair with a punk kid (who was her adoptive son in China), Moon Lee has since lived in secrecy all the while writing silly Chinese blog essays to communicate with her mindless fans.  She appears to have done nothing useful or important since that unfortunate divorce court ruling against her.  She only writes about her cooking, traveling and other mundane life’s activities.  I know for a fact that she has not done anything important professionally either in the entertainment field, in dance art or in martial arts.  She has existed as a secretive middle-aged single mother of one son without any real life worthy enough reveal.  Curiosity drives me to look into her blog some times --- it provides comic relief my family members and me to see how hopelessly worthless her life has become.

My mother just told me again that I really should thank our then adoptive son, Zong Tianyi – the teenage kid that stole Moon’s fickle heart and caused her world to tumble down.  He has proven to be the hero of the Law family; we should be indebted to him for revealing the true nature of a wife like Moon Lee.  With a person like her shamed and out of our lives, the present and the future is blessed.

We continue to discuss Moon Lee occasionally and write commentaries on this English-language blog because we are driven to respond to her on-going yearning for notoriety.  By refusing to slide into obscurity and by fueling her name recognition with blog essays, she keeps alive gossip cyberspace essays that brings up her scandalous “Closet Affair” on a weekly basis.  That gets my name being dragged in the mud with her far too often.  More recently, Moon proudly announced that she was given an interview with a prominent CCTV journalist.  Concerned that she may have used the occasion to campaign her “innocence” falsely, my Beijing office make inquiries with CCTV and was assured that CCTV tends not to delve into personal scandals in their programming.  In order to assert the truth, my office manager offered the CCTV journalist a copy of my book, The Two Faces of the Moon, a gift that was enthusiastically accepted. 

During the late stages of the nasty divorce, Moon Lee proposed a devil’s bargain --- if I were to make a publically denial of her affair with the dumb kid, she will waive the monetary claims against the marital estate.  This indicated how afraid she was in having the scandal aired and made public.  She kept forgetting the fact that I announced the truth behind the scandal affair BECAUSE she started falsely blaming the divorce one me first.  I blew the whistle as a matter of self-defense.  Knowing her sensitivity in this regard, we will forever feel it necessary to take defensive action occasionally as Moon Lee feels the need to stay in the public eye.

She will never accept the practical truth --- if she slips into oblivion, her public relations problem may gradually go away.  If she chooses to stay on a occult campaign, we will be glad to tango with her indefinitely.  The truth never changes!

Moon Lee - The Lover and the Fighter

Approaching the ten-year anniversary of my shocking discovery of Moon Lee’s affair with a teenage adoptive son, I remain curious why the Chinese media is still so preoccupied by her personage.  This true story of passion gone wild has been told and re-hashed so many times that it should have lost all news value.  Although she starred in over forty movies, she was notable only because she was quite attractive and battled her adversaries with unusual grace.  These qualities usually buy one little legacy in the long run - new talent emerging on movie sets keeps getting more impressive, eclipsing their aging predecessors.  Maybe Moon’s ultra-famous “Closet Affair” coupled with her previous “nice girl” status helped to fuel her unworthy celebrity status.  I cannot really blame all the idiotic Chinese fans because even my elderly mother remains her curiosity after all these years – she called the other evening to suddenly bring up once again Moon Lee’s fight with my present wife in 2008 right in the middle of the nastiest divorce of the decade.

Moon Lee’s character flaw did not lie in her history-making affair with a punk kid of no value.  Emotions are unpredictable in the course of human behavior and at times impossible to understand.  Instead, her immorality was really revealed by her evil greed --- in leaving the marriage (based entirely on her own misconduct), she demanded as much money as she could cheat and steal.  Since Moon’s divorce, she has maintained her need to remain a celebrity as evidenced by her frequent blogs.  So I will elevate her notoriety by producing a permanent record of the profoundly remarkable “fight” referenced above.  Her cla to fame was a “fighting actress” --- but she lost the most important fight in her real life!

Moon Lee’s unethical false claims turned a straightforward divorce under Colorado’s “no-fault” laws into an expensive four-year court battle – and she was awarded almost NOTHING at the end.  At the height of this legal battle in 2008, Moon had to come to my home for a three-day hearing in front of a magistrate to argue over the value of the “marital property”.  While she lied and cheated to claim that her share was worth millions, the judge saw through her false claims and finally awarded her an embarrassingly tiny award.  In his written verdict, the judge wrote that Moon’s claims were essentially not believable; and in this legal language, it meant she lied.

In the middle of this hearing, in the morning of the second day, my then girlfriend, Alyssa Wang, in the process of leaving the house passed by Moon Lee as she was heading in from her car.  Witnessing this at a distance from inside the house, I saw Moon loudly first called Alyssa a “cheap slut” in Chinese, followed by Alyssa’s response, “You are saying this to me after your own sexual misconduct and you are here now to cheat money!”  That response motivated Moon to initiate a giant slap with her right arm towards Alyssa’s face.  Shockingly, Alyssa was faster than I expected; she blocked the slap and followed with a giant kick into Moon’s abdomen, tumbling her backwards onto the grassy front walk.  At the last moment, Moon’s desperate grasp pulled Alyssa (wearing heels) right onto her falling body.  The two women rolled and pulled at each other on the ground.  Then I saw Moon actually gaining an advantage by being on top of Alyssa.  Yet that was only momentary because Alyssa’s flexibility and long-legged nature allowed her to wrap both thighs and legs around Moon’s head, rotated, and dragged Moon’s head into the ground sideways, wedged firmly between the thighs and with Moon’s face tightly embedded into Alyssa’s crotch.  (In retrospect, it was this tight clasp that thankfully made it impossible for Moon to cause any damage with her mouth and teeth in that precarious anatomic position.)  Both kept pulling at each other’s hair, but Alyssa was victorious by extracting a wad of Moon’s long hair.  By that time, several of us on the sideline had rushed out on the scene and forced Moon to disengage.  Disheveled and ashamed, poor Moon then searched for her lost belongings for a few minutes, then vanished into the powder room of the house to clean up before the judge arrived.  Throughout the Hearing that day, her foul mood and her obvious false testimony led to shameful outbursts in front of the Court.  It was indeed an event to remember!

      Despite being viewed by some of her ignorant Chinese fans as a noteworthy heroine in the history of Hong Kong filmmaking, in real life Moon Lee has proven to be a disgrace.  As this unworthy celebrity continues to promote herself online, I am pleased to make a contribution by disclosing more facts about her, the person.  The joke is on her, so good luck!
