Moon Lee will lose either way

My team of lawyers have already served notice of my lawsuit against Phoenix TV, their related website and Moon Lee.  As expected, Moon Lee is avoiding this notification like the plague.  But this attempt to hide falls right into my scheme.

This lawsuit is to give me the opportunity to re-litigate and re-publicize her scandalous affair of historic proportions.  It will be a chance to reveal the truth and the facts.  If Moon Lee’s actions make her absent at the trial, so much the better.

Unlike a person in hiding, the two commercial entities involved in this defamation cannot hide from the lawsuit.  So I have instructed my lawyers to actually drop Moon Lee from the suit now --- it is much better to sue the television station that knowingly aided and abetted Moon in defaming me through lies in a public forum.  Without Moon personally negating our evidence of her lies, the defense has little chance.  I like this new “rule of engagement” in this suit --- the result will suit me fine!  The television entity is the real culprit because it is the loud speaker for Moon’s lies and misrepresentation.

It is clear to any thinking person that Moon is avoiding being served by my lawyers because she knows the truth will haunt her forever.  Her lies are indefensible anywhere, and especially in a court of law.  Hiding is a clear sign of guilt.  My life with my family is always out in the open; we are openly making generous and impactful contributions to Chinese art and culture everywhere.  Whereas Moon Lee just writes about nonsense and never discloses anything about her life.  Claiming privacy is a bad excuse; she is de facto hiding from the truth, from herself and from everyone else.

I am litigating the truth, not asking her for money for damages.  Despite her fantasies in life as revealed in her blog and other writings, I seriously doubt she has enough money to make any difference for me.

So hide, and watch my public declarations of truth from the sideline.  Enjoy the show!

Moon Lee --- instead of peace, she gets another lawsuit

Moon Lee was dumb to fall in love with a teenage employee and adoptive son in 2004, and got dumber during the divorce and its aftermath in subsequent years.  Not content to live quietly outside of the limelight, she has continued to campaign her self-indulgent innocence --- she lies without boundaries and has lost all sense of reality.  For the lies she told and the character assassination on Chinese national Phoenix television in early January, a lawsuit is being filed for defamation against Moon Lee, Phoenix Television and the well-known Program “Lu Yu’s Appointments”.

The reason for our divorce was her two and a half year’s worth of a history-making extra-marital sexual scandal.  It had nothing whatsoever to do with my personal actions of any nature.  I know well that Moon Lee would try to hide and flee from this lawsuit to try to hide again from this shame.  But she must know that it was her own false declarations on television that has caused the scandal to be born again.  And the television station and the program were complicit in Moon Lee’s defaming assertions.

If Moon Lee tries to hide by avoiding service of this lawsuit, we will still get it done by public announcement according to the laws of the People’s Republic of China.  If she were smart, she will quickly accept service and valiantly come to face the “music” in court.  That will actually shorten the pain and the anguish.  No matter the route Moon chooses, she will again face the very truth she has been trying to avoid for more than ten years.  Defamation lawsuits are rare in China; it is not a concept well accepted by Chinese courts.  Yet, we will use this opportunity to let the Chinese system learn about charges of defamation.  Winning or losing legally in China is out of my control; but it remains another loud and clear opportunity to declare the truth.  And always, the truth prevails over lies at least for reasonable and intelligent people --- and that is what matters.

Moon Lee only has herself to blame for the actual scandal, for the divorce of historic proportions, and now for the legal jeopardy that she has brought upon herself.  I am glad to oblige Moon by letting truth repeat itself over and over again.

In 2004, Moon Lee was 39 years old and the kid was just under eighteen when the sordid relationship started.  Unknowingly, I took this photo in the early summer of 2004 during the world premiere of Terracotta Warriors in Canada.
